ransom.EECS.Berkeley.Edu was a dual processor, Pentium Xeon 3.06 GHz, with 4 GB of RAM and 240GB of hard drive space. It was running Windows Terminal Server 2003, and has a bunch of software installed, which can be used by any user on the machine.
