Dr. W. Roesner

Wolfgang Roesner is a senior technical staff member in IBM's verification tools development group. He got his Diplom-Ingenieur degree in 1980 and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering in 1983 both from University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. He joined IBM Germany in 1984 where he was responsible for IBM's hardware design language, simulation and synthesis. Wolfgang worked as part of the RS/6000 and PowerPC chip set development group on a temporary assignment to Austin, TX from 1989 until 1992 and joined IBM Austin as a permanent employee in 1994 where he is now responsible for IBM EDA's verification tools strategy.
