Dr. Eli ChiproutEli Chiprout graduated with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He was with Northern Telecom and Bell Northern research before joing IBM's research division. Currently he is a research staff member at IBM's Austin research lab, formerly at the T. J. Watson research center in New York. He is the author of one book, invited presentations and several journal and conference papers on the topic of high speed interconnect analysis. He has participated in funding research projects on behalf of the SRC and IBM. His interests include electromagnetic effects in VLSI design, numerical algorithms and systems level non-uniform memory access architecture.
